Title: This Machine Called Man
Fandom: Sherlock BBC
Characters/Pairings: Sherlock&John, ensemble
Rating: PG-13
Word count: 29,000
Disclaimer: This is a transformative work of the BBC’s Sherlock, which itself is a transformative work. Fun, not profit!
Warnings: canon-typical violence, gore, and bad decisions; brief discussion of hypothetical cannibalism, sex bots
Notes: Originally written and posted on the [livejournal.com profile] sherlockbbc_fic kinkmeme, there titled Identification. Massively edited and expanded for [livejournal.com profile] robotbigbang. It will have two sequels, and if you read the fic on the meme you’re going to want to reread before you read the sequels. Thanks to beta [livejournal.com profile] miss_sabre and britpicker [livejournal.com profile] rhuia, and to co-brainer, enabler, ninja-artist, and beta [livejournal.com profile] call_me_ishmael. Further notes, including abundant thanks, are to be found in the author’s notes.
Summary: London, 2081. John Watson, former army roboticist, has an expired licence and an illegal tri-wing screwdriver in his desk. Sherlock Holmes has fingerprints and a name, and in an office somewhere in Whitehall there are blueprints for the metal underneath his perfect, artificial skin.

Chapters: One | Two | Three | Four | Five | Six | Seven

Title: At Your Finger Ends
Fandoms: Sherlock BBC, Oxford time travel novels by Connie Willis
Characters/Pairings: (gen) John, Sherlock, Mike Stamford, Sally Donovan, Mycroft
Rating: PG-13
Word count: 7,500
Disclaimer: I don't own Sherlock, and I don't own all the dialogue shamelessly lifted from A Study in Pink, and I make no money off of any of this.
Warnings: Canon violence (nothing that wasn’t in A Study in Pink)
Notes: See the end for some notes re: AU, possible sequel, and the title. Beta by [livejournal.com profile] miss_sabre .
Summary: John has always wanted to be a historian. He was born in 2020, so he grew up hearing about developments in time travel technology and theory. For John, history is mostly about the adventure. Fusionfic with Connie Willis’s Oxford University time travel novels (Doomsday Book, To Say Nothing of the Dog, etc.), which you don’t need to have read to understand this. John is a time traveller from Oxford 2059 who gets stuck in London in 2009.

Title:  Multi-Fandom Meme Fic of Doom
Fandom/Ship: HP (vague Sirius/Remus), Doctor Who, Torchwood (vague Jack/Ianto), The West Wing (vague Josh/Donna), various crossover pairings
Word Count: 700-ish. 13 very short fics.
Rating: G through R
Disclaimer: I do not own Harry Potter, Doctor Who, Torchwood, or The West Wing, and I'm only doing this 'cause it's hilarious.
Warnings: Bizarre crossovers, some out of character choices (mostly on the part of West Wing characters, actually), non-graphic gay sex, very very vague spoilers for Doctor Who End of Time 2, character death.
Summary: So there's this meme:  "1. Write down the names of 10 characters. 2. Write a fic of fifteen words or fewer for every prompt, using the characters determined by the numbers. Do NOT read the prompts before you do step 1." I failed utterly at keeping these to 15 words. I was going to try for one sentence, but that failed too, so they're all just short. I also had the lovely Beverly give me three more prompts, so there are ultimately 13 little ficlets. Some of them made perfect sense, in terms of characters, some of them make absolutely no sense, but were fun to write. Donna was lying about never having had a campaign fling. A lot.

Let the bizarrity begin. )
